Bicentenary 1810 - 2010

This part of the Brown Shipley website marks the 200th anniversary of William Brown's arrival in Liverpool, his foundation there in 1810 of a merchant house (that became Brown Shipley) and his later donation of Liverpool's free public Library to its City and people in 1860.
