Brown Shipley strengthens Development team

Tim Meikle has joined private bank, Brown Shipley as Intermediary Development Director.  He joins after holding a similar role at UBS.

Mr Meikle will work in the development team headed by Ian Rogers.  He will help in developing distribution channels in London and the South, with lawyers, accountants and IFA's with high net worth private clients, as well as corporate finance boutiques.  This latest appointment is part of Brown Shipley's ongoing growth strategy for 2010 and strengthens the bank's commitment to the intermediary sector. 

Commenting on the announcement, Managing Director Ian Sackfield said “Tim's appointment underlines and is a clear demonstration of our determination to continue to successfully grow the business in the UK.  We believe intermediaries are a very important part of our future growth strategy and Tim's appointment is an unequivocal commitment to that sector across the UK both by our Private Banking business and our Fund Management arm.”
