David Tod, a graduate trainee at Private Bank Brown Shipley, has scooped 4 Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment awards. His exam sittings were in 2009 and David was presented with his awards at a ceremony at London's Mansion House last night (Thursday, 28 January 2010).

David Tod joined Brown Shipley's Manchester office and their Private Banking graduate programme in 2007.  The awards include achieving the highest marks in the country, recognised with the Overall Diploma Prize. David is now a Private Client Assistant and is, of course, aiming much higher. He graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Manchester. His current role involves providing investment recommendations to clients, helping to generate investment ideas for his team and assisting Directors and Senior Managers in the management of client investments. David who is also an Everton supporter said “it is a tremendous honour to be awarded these prizes. The training programme at Brown Shipley has been so well organised and my studies have been supported all the way. I am now looking forward to working more closely with clients”.

Commenting on the achievement after the award ceremony, Managing Director Ian Sackfield said “we are extremely proud of David's achievement. He has worked really hard to achieve this success but this has not been at the expense of his work for Brown Shipley clients. David is a huge asset with lots of potential – well done. We wish him all the best in his future at Brown Shipley”.
