29 November 2017

Andrew Butler-Cassar

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Butler-Cassar as Head of London Office, a newly created role. He will start his new role on 8 January 2018.

Andrew has over 20 years of industry experience, including his most recent role as Head of Private Office at Investec Wealth & Investment, a role he has held since 2014. Previous roles include Head of Corporate Development, Head of London and Senior Investment Director during 12 years at Williams de Broe, as well as Senior Relationship Manager at Lloyds TSB Private Banking.

In his new role, Andrew will focus on the leadership of the London-based client relationship teams, including business development. Andrew will report to Guy Healey and join Brown Shipley’s front office leadership team.

The appointment is part of a strategic initiative to further develop Brown Shipley’s presence and expertise in its London office and across the South. Today’s appointment follows other London-based leadership roles added this year; Michael Pos, Head of Product and Proposition and Richard Stubbs, Head of Lending, joining in May and March of this year respectively, as well as Paul Ryder-Morris, Client Director in July.

Commenting on the appointment, Guy Healey, Head of Private Banking at Brown Shipley, said: “Andrew is an experienced senior leader in the wealth management industry with a proven track record for growth, an entrepreneurial spirit and strong strategic development credentials, so I am delighted that he will be joining our team at Brown Shipley. His experience and expertise add to our full service wealth management proposition combining wealth planning, investment, and lending.

This is also another significant hire for the London office, as we look to further build our presence in the South.”

Andrew Butler-Cassar, added: “I am thoroughly looking forward to leading Brown Shipley’s London office given its ambition and recent trajectory. In particular, given the size of the market in London and the South, there are clear opportunities for further growth. Working alongside senior management from across the business, I hope to play an integral role in Brown Shipley’s continued success.”
