Lending is an integral part of our banking service and is available to clients who have a wealth management account with us, or are in the process of opening one.
As wealth managers, we offer our clients informed financial advice on wealth planning, investment management and banking services. By working with you to understand why you want to borrow, our lending experts are able to find the right solution for you.
We are also part of the KBL European Private Banking Group. Through this network of offices we are able to offer access to lending across the UK as well as Europe.
Loan Terms Made Simple
Lending is integral to the broader wealth service we offer our clients. As with our wider wealth planning, we take a long term view when it comes to lending, typically with terms up to five years. The loans can be secured against an investment portfolio (held in our nominee company), residential property or both. The benefit of this approach is that your investment portfolio can remain invested in the agreed strategy.
Our short term lending arrangements, including bridging loans and overdraft facilities, provide you with the facility to borrow money for a specific event or requirement. It is always worth discussing your circumstances before deciding to disinvest from assets.
Portfolio (Lombard) Lending
We understand the importance of generating short-term liquidity to take advantage of investment opportunities. Because the wealth management service we offer is tailored to your personal requirements, we can offer you a flexible financing solution aimed at meeting your ambitions.
We can offer residential, buy to let and commercial mortgages. We can accommodate Interest Only or Capital and Interest repayments. Flexibility is at the heart of any solution and so there are no early repayment charges with any of our lending facilities.
Costs & Fees
Interest rates are discussed at the time of your loan/credit application. Other fees and costs may be incurred; full details will be provided and discussed with you. All lending is subject to qualifying criteria.
Think carefully before securing debt against your home. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or any debt secured against it.
All lending is subject to qualifying criteria. Brown Shipley reserves the right to decline any loan application at its sole discretion.
